Toledo Academy of Beauty has been the areas premier beauty school for over 50 years and is still Toledo's only nationally accredited beauty school.  We have placed more graduates in the areas top salons and spas than any other beauty school in Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan.  And why?  First, our curriculum is advanced and cutting edge.  Second, our facilities are beautiful.  All schools have been professionally designed by architects to our specifications and reflects equipment used in the finest salons.  And third, our dedicated teaching staff with over 200 years of salon and teaching experience.  When you visit our schools, you'll experience our friendly and award winning teaching style that makes our graduates stand out in any salon and makes your learning experience fun.

We also believe in giving back to the community.  We have teamed up with F.O.C.U.S., an organization that helps the homeless population in Toledo.  Our students provide all types of beauty care services to people of need and their familuies to help them prepare for job interviews and/or to build their self-esteem and make them feel better about themselves.  There is never a charge for this.  As we like to say, we're not just a beauty school, but a "beautiful" school.

Toledo Academy of Beauty Culture has two locations.

Our South Location is located at 1554 S. Byrne Rd. in the Glenbyrne Shopping Center. It is convenient to people who live in South Toledo , Maumee , Perrysburg and surrounding communities such as Delta , Swanton, Archbold , Napoleon , Defiance and Bowling Green . It has 10,000 square feet of space.

Our East Location is located in Oregon, Ohio on Navarre Ave. in the Kroger Plaza.   It is convenient to people who live in East Toledo , Rossford , Genoa , Fremont, Findlay , and Sandusky. It has a total of 7,000 square feet.

All schools are located in safe shopping areas of the city . They are all on one floor and offer plenty of free parking .

All Toledo Academy schools are licensed by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, Accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences and approved by the State Department of Education. We are also members of the Better Business Bureau of Toledo and Chamber of Commerce.
